It took me a couple of chapters to fully get invested in this one. It felt like at the beginning there was a lot of background about the town and stuff that we were learning and it was just a lot. It definitely took me a minute to finally catch up to everything and actually enjoy the book.

Sawyer is such a baddie I absolutely love her. Shes as dangerous or even more deadly than most of the men in this book. Everything that she's doing is for her little brother and I admire her even more for that. She's definitely a very hardworking person that loves with her entire heart. Even though there's a lot of back and forth with the guys, Oliver and Cain, I'm glad she met them bc she's practically been alone most of her life and now its time for someone to look after her.

I liked the guys. They were very different from each other and they bring our a different side to Sawyer. I cant wait to see how their relationship with her is gonna develop. Now we have a mystery man called Dante that I am very curious about. I need to know more about him pls.

I have a very soft spot for Luc, her brother, and Jon. I hope PRAYING RN that the author doesn't do anything to them bc my heart will not be able to handle it.

Overall I enjoyed this one. Her taking out all the sick and trashy men from this world was amazing. This book felt more like world building more than anything. I feel like the other books in the series are definitely gonna be action packed and I can't wait to read them.

Sawyer is the guardian of her brother, a stripper by night, and a reaper of abusive men (though no one knows it’s her). Cain and Oliver run the feral beasts and are searching for the reaper to help take down the antonellis.

I loved Pacific Prep and what I've read of The Ruthless Boys of Ridgeway, so while waiting for this author's next release, I decided to jump into this series. So far I'm really liking it. There are things that go on here with Sawyer that would usually not be what I like to read, and yet it is completely working for me in this one. I'm fascinated by the various players and can't wait to dive right into the next book in the series.

if the plot is that all three gangs will be united bc of the common love interest in mc idk what to think: i’m the genius or the plot is obvious. okay now that i’ve finished this book i’m not sure about my theory
70 pages in they meet. 70..
the book dragged out. it was so slow. i can count the events: she meets oliver, she meets cain, she acts like reaper, they hire her. that’s all. everything else was some filler crap.

I have to admit, I'm just joining in on this spin-off of the Pacific Prep series (I know, I need to catch up). But OMFG, this literally started off with a bang. It was real easy to follow and the world building and character development is incredible. Sawyer is such a badass! She is feisty, smart, and definitely someone that I would never want to meet in a dark alley. However, she does have a sense of maternal instinct when it comes to her brother. She tries to keep him from going down the road she's at. I literally couldn't put this down! OMG! That cliffy!!! Definitely, need more!!

I absolutely couldn’t put this one down!! If you’ve read this author’a Crescentwood and Pacific Prep series, you must read this one! If you haven’t, no worries - you can still start this one without having read those

RA Smyth has done it again. This new series seemed interesting when a few of the characters made an appearance in her last series (highly recommend) but I didn’t realize how hooked I would become after one book. This author excels at writing strong heroines who stand up for themselves, what they believe in and who they deem important in their life.

I love that the author was able to incorporate a few aspects from her last series but it’s not a prerequisite in order to enjoy this series. Again, I would highly recommend that series.

If the strong FMC doesn’t attract you to the book then the men and story definitely will. Each of the men bring something different to their interactions with FMC and to one another. An added bonus is a bit of a mystery man who I know is going to bring the drama in the next book.

There is a decent amount of world building and introductions because this is the first book of the series. It does flow naturally and you become more interested in the events and characters.

No surprise, I’m already ready for the next book.
