This book is setting up this new reverse harem series perfectly!! Sawyer, our FMC, is a strong, bad*ss women, she loves her brother fiercely and wants to protect him. We also meet two of our harem, Cain and Oliver, both with troubled pasts and on a mission for revenge. Growing up and living in Black Creek is not easy but each of our characters is surviving and thriving in their own ways. We meet two of our harem int his book and if you read RH, you know there has to be at least one more person. I'm interested to see who our final harem will be, I have an idea, but nothing is confirmed yet. I can feel the storm brewing and the conflict to come in future books but for now I'll enjoy the alley tryst between Sawyer and one of the main guys (not going to spoil who it is). The tension between Sawyer, Cain and Oliver is hot & steamy, and I want more!!! R.A. Smyth is creating an amazing story in this world and it's going to be passionate and explosive between our FMC and MMCs.

I love that we are getting more from Black Creek characters. Sawyer (Red) is one kickbutt FMC! She has layers to her that just keep you guessing. The guys in this book are all growly and dominate. Oliver and Cain are just hot

Sawyer is fiery to say the least! She is not afraid of the gangs that run her town in the slightest. She’s been on her own, taking care of her younger brother basically her whole life. She will always do what she has to do to make sure he’s taken care of

Sooo good can’t wait for the rest of this series! I love strong female characters and Sawyer is just outstanding and her fierce attitude is so amazing! Cain and Oliver I just love their bond and how they are there for each other! Can’t wait to see the story unfold! Job well done R A Smyth you knocked another one out of the park!
The first book in the Black Creek series didn't disappoint! I can already tell this series is going to be on another level. I loved Red's character, her fierce personality while also showing her soft and caring side that she tries to hide from the world. I LOVE Cain and Oliver, even the side characters - Enzo, Luc and Jon. I hope they play bigger roles in the next books. Dante is intriguing and I can't wait to see where the story goes!
After reading the Pacific Prep series by R. A. Smyth, I was so excited to read this next series/spin-off! I just love this authors writing style.
