Always enjoy this author. Scary thought but could see this happening in the US

3.5 An early book by the author. The writing isn’t as polished, but still a good story. It wrapped up pretty quickly / easily, maybe not realistically.

Good beach read, but the plot was a little too "Scandal"-esque for me.

Another winner by William Kent Krueger. After reading Ordinary Grace and This Tender Land, I looked through his collection and chose this one because it was his debut novel, and I’ve been on a bit of a debut roll lately. This one was a thriller with some pretty twisted stuff in it …. very different from his others. He’s a master at painting a picture, and with three 5-star novels he is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors!
