2.5★ This book concept reminded me of Divine Rivals and Fourth Wing, two books I love. I think this would be a great read for the younger audience. I loved the world building and the whole language/translation system. I just feel like this book could’ve been so much more. All the promised twists and turns and the enemies to lover slowburn were definitely not happening in this book (who did the marketing for this? lol). I unfortunately couldn’t stand the main character, she was way too naive and selfish for my liking. Still, I enjoyed myself enough and flew through it for most part, but won’t continue this series.
