This book reads like thinly veiled Qanon propaganda. In the 20% that I did read the writing is bad, the story is even worse, and the suspension of disbelief needed to engage with the plot was absurd. I love splatterpunk but this was absolutely awful.

Read as part of the 2024 Books of Horror Indie Brawl. This book was seated 32nd. BOH score 2.9 stars.
I almost skipped this book in the challenge. I enjoy splatter punk, but am not really interested in extreme violence and gore just because the author wants to see how extreme they can go before readers will refuse to read the work. Between the title and the book description, that is what I saw in the book.
But, I wanted to give the book a shake so I read it. Now this was NOT a great book, there are several plot points I just could not swallow, but was this the worst book I have ever read..... no. Was this the worst book I have read in 2024.... again, no. That title goes to The Auction. ( You Suck Elci North!). This book was better than I expected, but I'm not sure it belonged in the Brawl.
