So I did really enjoy this book and I have a few theories as I went along and most of them were wrong but I didn't expect it to be a happy ending and it didn't feel right?
I liked the twists and turns and I expected EJ was Ethan and I was wrong but the ending didn't feel 100% right for myself

A história te prende de uma maneira, indescritível, todas as cenas de suspense te deixa ansiosa e eu acho que isso é um ponto bastante importante! Ele tem um lance com o suspense e mistério que deixa a história interessante e ao decorrer que a protagonista vai revelando as coisas, eu fiquei MUITO em choque, pois não tinha imaginado o plot e ele foi gigante tá! A história eu acho que poderia ter se aprofundado mais, porém foi uma ótima sacada ter resumido alguns fatos e não se aprofundar, pois poderia ser que ao se aprofundar, a história poderia ficar pesada e sem nexo. Amei como a autora soube trazer todos os sentimentos á tona. Enfim, um ótimo livro e uma ótima escritora.
I was CONVINCED i knew the twist to this story but when it happened i was genuinely in shock! once again i was captivated by frieda’s writing and i could not put this book down.

I loved the big reveal about who was the perpetrator all along and it made me realise that i need to
stop always looking for a guy as the perpetrator. I didn’t give it 4 stars becausei’ve read three of this author’s book and i’m getting kind of tired about the plot of how the murderer always gets away. i understand that the story is supposed to be somewhat realistic and we don’t always catch the bad guy but she literally gives the murderers an amazing life at the end of the book. It feels a bit disrespectful to the victims because of how glorified the murderers are. Poor luke for example did not even have to die. I would say that trying to piece together information and see who could be the mad patient is futile because you’ll never guess who’s dead or who’s alive. The mystery about someone else being in the house brought a bit of a horror element to the book which i really loved. Overall a good read tjo finished it in one sitting.
