Art- incredible.
Colors - spectacular.
Story- I’m a bit disappointed by this ending. It’s a colonization story and the ending is
that the marginalized people can now enter the city one night a year? I wanted land back - not apartheid.
Disappointed

If this book is for children, then why did I cry the entire last quarter of it, huh?????

Best one yet! Then though it picks up on the cliff hanger of the last book which I didn’t care for I like the messaging in the books. Hilda is adventurous and not afraid to work to get what she wants. I thought the ending was well placed and well done!

Satisfying conclusion to the storyline from the last book. Still not a fan of stone trolls.

I absolutely adored this series. Beautiful visuals and such sweet storytelling. The ending made it feel like an ending ending but I hope Pearson has completely shut the door on this wonderful world. Either way, I can't wait to see what he cooks up next

I forget how amazing the Hilda books are! This one picks up just after the cliffhanger at the end of Hilda and the Stone Forest & rolls you straight into troll lore. Beautiful & heartfelt in the best of ways. Hilda is always highly recommended to all.
