Had this on my tbr for ages and was hesitant because of the hype. Can safely say the hype was worth it and thoroughly enjoyed this.

I was sad for this one to be over. I’m a huge fan of most regency stories, but Julianne Donaldson did it so well. This competes easily with those of the Bridgerton series, especially because this was a clean, sweet read. Philip and Annie’s love story will be a favorite of mine for awhile!

This was a fun read. All the criticism from folks seems rooted in the behavior of the main character... a 17 year old. She is 17. Give the kid a break.

LOVED IT! By the third chapter I was hooked, late for appointments, and cancelling any other plans I had so I could just read this book!

Great characters and story line, fun dialogue, perfect location. I got so involved in it that I was feeling the emotion right along with the characters. I was so frustrated in certain parts, my husband thought I was mad at him.

A perfect regency romance that I will be purchasing to read over and over again. I hope this author is busy writing more - or even a sequel for Cecily?
