Violet Sorrengail is a true unlikely hero of a main character, her flaws are the making of her throughout the story. The side characters are so well described and equally developed I felt like I was there with every one of them, getting into their heads when she was. SO MANY TWISTS! I've laughed, cried, and shouted ha at this book way too many times. Every fantasy fan should read this! Can't wait to read the next books in the series now after that ending wow.
Violet Sorrengail is a true unlikely hero of a main character, her flaws are the making of her throughout the story. This book was both well worth the wait it took to get delivered AND worth the hype all over the internet. I love Violet, she’s small and smart and she doesn’t let her size stop her from anything. She is (by the end of the book) surrounded by some of the most dedicated and badass people and as their stories intertwined I couldn’t help but get more and more excited.
I cannot wait to see where the second book picks up. And one last time, I just want to emphasize FUCK Dain. All my homies hate Dain.
