WOW! I’ll preface this by saying I’m a huge romantasy fan and this book fits solidly in that category. I read this book within 24 hours. Which isn’t unusual for me and doesn’t immediately mean it’s a 5 star read. However, from the first page I was sucked in, and by the last I didn’t want to leave. I knew this was an amazing book when I got to the end and immediately went back to the first page. I’ve now read it 4 times! 
The Fourth Wing reminds me of the best parts of a few of my favorite series. Eragon (dragons. Duh), Divergent (training), ACOTAR (Rhys vibes), An Ember in the Ashes (war college), and yet it stands on its own. Plus it’s new adult (no teenagers!) and spicy! I love the characters. I love the plot. I love the spice. I love the mystery and the twists. Can’t wait for the next one!

Worth every ounce of hype.

Haven’t felt this excited about a fantasy series since Harry Potter!

Speaking of HP, this gives college aged HP vibes mixed with Hunger Games, but dragons. Lots of dragons

Cannot say enough good things about this. It’s sexy, it’s sassy, it’s a little of that young adult-specific brand of cheesy, it’s brilliant, it’s surprising, it’s perfect. I literally felt like I was riding a high while reading it, I absolutely could not get enough. Get this book NOWWWWW

yeah it’s gonna be a no but yes but no from me. i enjoyed reading it, but it’s just objectively not good writing, plot, or characters. BUT I also read it in a day and like enjoyed it. idk I think books like these are my form of trashy reality tv lol.
