Jazz just got annoying. I wish she was stronger. And don't get me started on that cliffhanger.
Umm that ending wow! I can't wait to see what really happened because I don't want it to go where we are lead to believe.
Bully Romances are my obsession! I make no qualms about this. They are definitely one of my favorite tropes and this book was just added to my list of favorites. I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved this book and I am dying to read more in this world created by Laura Lee. It is dark and intense. It is emotional and angsty. It is a complete roller coaster ride that I did not want to end. I am loving the start of this series and I am ready for the next one. I can't wait to see what Laura Lee has in store for us.
“She shakes her head. “I’m sorry, but when exactly did you become the boss of me?”
I lean into her ear, nuzzling my nose against the lobe. “Don’t test me, Jazz. One way or the other, you’re coming with me.”
“Fine. But you’re feeding me.”
“Oh, I’ll feed you something real good, baby. I’ll give you a hint. It starts with D and rhymes with stick.”
She shivers. “I meant actual food, asshole.””
This is an actual conversation in the book. Yes, I am judging anyone who gave this book above 1 star.

Wow that had everything! And what was that ending. I just know Peyton had something to do with that. Little bitch!

.5 stars is what I would actually rate this book.
I tried with all my will power to read this book but I could not suffer any longer.
I ended DNFing this at chapter 3. Everything about this book screamed Wattpad. It was giving cliche poor girl is inserted into the world of overly obnoxious rich people. I can already guess how the story will play out with there being some love-hate tension between the spunky heroine and crazy-mean-man whore- rich love interest. There is probs a second male lead (of course he is in the sexy popular guy trio) who likes Jazz and treats her with like a inch of respect but of course he fades into the shadow of the ML. Speaking of Jazz she was SO cringy and I hated reading her pov. The author wants us to believe she is the most badass not-like-other girls type girl. Every time she said something or complained about being surrounded by rich people I rolled my eyes. All the characters that were introduced before I stopped reading are one dimensional and BORING. This book was BORING period.
I think if I was 14-17 then yeah I probs would have enjoyed reading this but I’m not so I am disappointed in the time I wasted reading this. I had semi-high hopes seeing as the book has a high rating and so many good reviews…which has me questioning if we are all reading the same book?

🌶🌶
Dual POV
Bully Romance
Best friend’s brother
Rich prep school
Cliffhanger ending
To start with, it is classed as a dark bully romance and take my warning it is quite dark. TW: of violence, bullying, r00fying, pretend sa and more. If you go to the author’s website she has a full list of the TW for the books so if you are not used to reading dark romance I would advise checking the TW first.
On to my thoughts. I really enjoyed this book. It did have some slow spot but it was very intriguing and made you want to keep reading to find out what happens next. It is super dramatic from family issues, crimes being committed, spying, relationship drama and so much more.
It was an interesting read and I will definitely be picking up book 2 after that cliffhanger.
