Lies, deception, and who do you trust all play a part in this wicked game.
Wicked Liars is the first book in this series and it ends on a whopper of a cliffhanger!! Just when you think you know who to trust...bam...don't turn your back, this plot weaves in and out and everyone is a suspect.
I'm eagerly awaiting to jump into the next book to delve deeper into this mystery, along with finding out more on each character. There are certainly unanswered questions and characters that need flushing out because there are a ton of secrets running around this privileged world.
Jasmine Jazz Callahan has been thrown into an elitist world after losing her mother. For the very first time in seventeen years she is meeting her father and she isn't exactly happy about that fact. He's extremely rich and he's never once paid a dime to support her, but once she gets deeper into his world, she quickly learns that she'd take her poor upbringing that was full of love vs. the sterile, cold man who calls himself her father. To add insult to injury, she's thrust into an elitist school where she's bullied by her stepsister, Peyton, and her boyfriend, Kingston.
Kingston has secrets. Secrets that he doesn't appreciate the new girl showing up and getting in the middle of. He is all too happy to upset her life and throw off any scent to his plots. Jazz is just another pawn he can use to get what he needs, if she ends up liking him it will work even better in his ultimate plan.
Wicked Liars is a twisted, who do you trust on the spin the wheel of your heart game. I was completely on the edge of my seat and couldn't put it town until the very last page. Now I need to find out what happens next.

I loved this story. Do not go into this expecting a resolution. Things are not resolved for Kingston and Jazz in this book, but at the end of the trilogy, I'm sure they will be. Kingston and Jazz explore that fine line between love and hate where we know there are secrets in both of their families and we get to watch some of them unfold (and the rest will unfold in future books).
I thought Jazz was a great character. She was strong-willed and unwilling to bend to her father's (or anyone's) whims. She comes from a different life than she was thrown into and is so different than most of the other people who are now in her life. Most of the other characters in this book are pretty terrible. Kingston is terrible to Jazz, but at the same time, he does some sweet things to help her out too.
This book does end on a cliffhanger, but I am lucky that the others are already out, so I can go right into them!
Read if you like: bully romance, hate to something, best friends brother, vendettas

Jazz is sent to live with her wealthy birth father after the death of her mother. Her half sister Belle is sent to live with her own father. Jazz meets her step sister Peyton who isn’t happy to have Jazz around. Peyton is queen B and her boyfriend Kingston is king. Jazz quickly captures his eye but he has a hidden agenda and wants her out of the picture….until he realizes he can’t get her out of his head. Jazz’s only friend is kingstons twin sister Ainsley so she’s forced to be around him frequently.
—-This book moves way too quickly in my pov. Some time jumps I don’t mind, but four weeks? That’s kind of a stretch. The hatred of the step sister is stereotypical and predictable. I love Jazz though. I love that she’s tough while having a heart of gold. She’s there for her people; mainly Ainsley and her sister belle. I’ll continue the story for that reason.

I am loving this story so far. It’s similar to some others I’ve read, but with much better (and far less annoying characters). Jazz is amazing. Her confidence and boldness is admirable. And while the guys are far from perfect, I appreciate that Kingston doesn’t play games with her. Bentley is great too. I went into this blind and was really hoping for a why-choose situation, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to go that way. Clearly, there are dark secrets left to uncover so I’m diving right into the next book.
This is the average, secret society, bully romance.....good thing I'm into that lol so I can read it again🤣 I'll read the rest of the series but only if it goes on sale.
No spoilers. I was so torn in many way throughout this book! It had me second guessing myself so many times!! The freaking ending left me no choice but to immediately download and start the second book! Holy crap!!
