loved this

I don’t know how how does S.J Tilly write so many different genres so well?! I love Sleet Kitten

Super Cute, Fun, Sports Romance.

This was a super fun and cute sports romance. It had the typical angst of a contemporary romance, but it was full of really great moments and steam. I also laughed out loud a bunch. Can’t wait to read book 2!

I love everything S. J. Tilly writes. This book though. I could not stop smiling and giggling throughout the entire thing. Jackson and Katelyn just couldn’t get it together at first. Absolutely amazing ready to devour this series!

My first SJ Tilly book and it did not disappoint. Jackson is now my new book boyfriend

Literally laugh out loud funny and super sexy too!

This shit was amazing... I will simply state my main points of discussion and go no further because this book had me happy and fuzzy with minimal spice and that's a fucking TASK. First of all, safe sex slay. They did not go WILD LUST FUCK THE CONDOMS. NAHH THEY KEPT THAT SHIT UP. And it didn't end with a pregnancy so double slay.

I momentarily was disappointed by the whole engaged thing, like just say you're dating and don't push it BUT that disappointment was allowed leeway seeing as they didn't EXACTLY follow the evil woman trope. Izzy, friend not foe, was a crucial point for me. To take a character that could be easily pinned as the ditzy blonde, coaches daughter, whore villain and make them a friend was far more real and enjoyable than even the eeeeevill conflict character Lacy. Admittedly, I am aware that she's the next book or smth and that's probably why but still, I liked it.

I would have loved more of the other players, Luke was great but he was in 3 scenes max. The interactions felt real and some of the awkwardness or situations that would've usually induced second hand embarrassment/ annoyance at the over used plot devices actually landed softly for me and didn't seem dramatic. Yes the actual conflict was dramatic as hell but to be FRANK, they had me hook line and sinker bc I was eating that shit up, heart broken for our sweet FL and ready for a can of kick ass. Did I care for that career day bit? Nah. But seeing as their dates and complications had me smiling like a fool, I couldn't really find myself upset over a wee bit of cheesy conflict resolution. I would definitely recommend this book to my friends at risk of giving their lactose intolerant asses a cheese overload.
