I hadn't read any description or reviews of this book, I just wanted to read it because I like Candace and love her heart for the Lord. It wasn't what I expected but I appreciate her approach to health and fitness as an expression of her faith.

I'm genuinely confused by the reviewers of this book acting bamboozled by this book being about health and Christianity? Like I know "Spirituality" does not always equate Christianity but you had to know it was going to be about some kinda Spirituality... with a title like that...and then within 5 mins of the book she reiterates that the book is about her Christian testimony and ways of staying fit...?

Anyways I really enjoyed it. The tips were helpful although I wonder how many people have tried those recipes in the book because the sound very not tasty... the book was an easy listen... if you're wanting a book focused on an acting career or Hollywood life I wouldn't recommend this book. If you want Christian encouragement this is a great book.

I didn't care for the tone, and there isn't a whole lot of helpful substance here.

Oh ouch. As a Full House fan and a child of the 80s, I really wanted to love this book. But the idea that God alone can save us from eating disorders rubs me the wrong way. I feel like she really trivialized the issues while awkwardly trying to convince everyone that she is just a normal mom (like the rest of us!!).

Candace Cameron Bure did an amazing job writing this book! I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot of things while reading it. This book was very inspiring and deals with many areas, not just struggling with food addiction. I personally don't need to lose weight, but I am definitely a food addict. This book made me see that I was turning food into a God, and that had to stop. Thanks to Candace's book, I've started to learn how to prioritize, when enough food is enough, and what the Bible says about it all.

I absolutely loved how Candace backed all her thoughts with Scripture. My favorite parts were the end of the chapters where there would be 'Food for Thoughts' and famous quotes and the closer of the book. It was so encouraging to read where Candance was coming from, learn about the struggles she has had with food since she was on the show Full House, and see how strong her faith in God is.

If you don't need to lose weight, but need spiritual fitness this book is for you!

At first I was a bit skeptical--I've read celebrity biographies, and they aren't usually worth their salt, especially as self-help books. I had heard about the book from following Cameron Bure on Twitter, and I came across it when I was at a local Christian bookstore in the health section. For a long time I have struggled with healthy eating and snacking, and I have come to feel that it was connected to my spiritual life and the "snacking" I do with my relationship with God. When I picked this book off the shelf and saw that that's exactly what it was about, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! Because there is a co-writer, the writing is actually good. The analogies are also spiritually based and don't feel hokey. There is a good use of scripture and encouragement to see overeating/undereating as sinning in not propery caring for your body. I was inspired and also gained helpful tips and "nuggets" that I can post on my mirror, on my fridge, and anywhere else that I need a reminder about who I really am.

If you are a Christian, and you struggle with eating improperly, I highly recommend this book!

Good motivation book for getting on track with weight loss and lifestyle adjustment by getting your relationship with God in the right priority.

Was not particularly well-written/edited, but I appreciated the book.
