Fitness & Faith

I loved that her book combines getting healthy physically and spiritually! faith & fitness! I loved the sections at the end! Quotes, recipes, recaps, etc!

I love Candace and I love that she isn’t scared to share her faith. I listened to this on audio because I thought it was more of a memoir. I definitely want to go back and read it on kindle or physical so I can make notes and highlight.

I adore Candace Cameron Bure; and find her incredibly fascinating and inspiring. I enjoyed hearing her perspective and learning more about her obstacles, triumphs, her faith, and her thoughts through everything.

Additionally, I enjoyed the spiritual and Biblical wisdom through everything. It was interesting way to look at fitness.

The recipes are basic and easy, but delicious - I can’t get enough of her Cauliflower recipe.

I listened to this as an audiobook through Audible. I definitely think I enjoyed this book more with Candace reading it than I would have reading it myself. While I did get some good advice out of it about goal setting, relationships, and confidence the book really did have some ill advised advice as well. I think making recommendations to skip meals (oversimplification on my part for the sake of the review), limit intake, and diet were all a little misguided in how and why she was recommending it. Overall it was an interesting take on this aspect of life, but she crossed over in to an area where she is under-qualified to give the advice she was giving and was really irresponsible about it.

Great book on how to live a healthy life through exercise and eating well by relying on the Lord when times are difficult..... which is all the time if you're trying to lose weight and get rid of food addictions and start better habits.

This was a good motivational book for spiritual and physical fitness. I'm glad that Candace is very open and passionate about her faith. There was a section in the book which had pictures of some moments in Candace's life which I enjoyed looking through. There were also some great recipes and Bible verses throughout the book. I'd give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars. On my scale, I'd say it's a 7/10.
