Reviews with content warning for Child abuse - Royally Rearranged

So this book started out what felt like super slowly and the big plot twist moment doesn’t happen until 1/2 way through the book. Would’ve loved for it to unfold a little earlier so I could get a grasp on more of the emotional climax rather than just a quick aha/oh no.

The ending was a lot more rapid fire with a side of suspense which brought up the overall rating a whole star!

Cute read, quick paced. Finished within a day. I like fast reads like this as palate cleansers. Something I can just read and enjoy and not overwork to understand. This was the perfect selection.

I enjoyed Serafina’s growth, and her commitment to to her country. I thought she was written pretty well and I liked her POV. But Rafe stole the show for me. While not overly complex - the type where you’re wondering what the heck his motivations are the entire time - he’s a bit deeper than one might expect. I thought he was delightful, and securely on the book boyfriend list.

Not really my favorite, it was kind of fast. On the verge of insta love if we are being honest, which just isn’t my type. I think other people would find this book enjoyable, it was just too rushed for me. I typically enjoy series.
