This is not my genre of choice, but I found myself really hooked by the storyline. There were times when I was screaming in my mind, "NO, don't do THAT!" Or "NO! Don't go there!! " but I was definitely rooting for Molly, and her Omega friends to get out of each precarious situation they found themselves in! A book that is sure to have a lengthy hold list come August!

This book was a lot of fun to read. The main character, Molly, is often quite hilarious and intelligent during the novel. As the first entry to the series, I am very excited to see where the next book will pick up. While it definitely has some zombie-slaying moments, there is very little gore and this book is far from vulgar. It is fun romp with a very likable and empowering female protagonist. A great 4th-5th grade chapter book.

I really enjoyed this book. The first in a series, it provides some fun zombie action for the bluebonnet kiddos. While violent and snarky, it avoids being gory and is much more of an action-adventure than horror. I look forward to reading more and I know my students will enjoy it.

This was my second zombie book and I love this one so much. The kids made a great team and learned a lot. It is very entertaining and a new take on zombies - and one that does not involve an apocalypse. It was very unique.
