Things I liked:

I absolutely LOVED reading this. From beginning to end, I was obsessed with the connection between Nera and Kai.
The way their story unfolded with flashbacks and things was absolutely perfect.
I was really curious about Nera’s sister so I’m looking forward to the next book!
Kai’s character was adorable. I loved watching him try to puzzle out human behavior. I really just wanted to give him a hug.

Things I didn’t like:

I could understand why Kai made the choices he did, but it was just so frustrating. I wanted him to communicate! He may the only hero who gets a pass on that because of his past.
