Everything about this was kinda fucked up but Oh so good.
Out of all the books I’ve read from the series, out of all the characters, I think Kai’s story is the saddest, got me crying at 3 in the morning, and woke up with swollen eyes.
A killing machine with no empathy for any living thing falls in love with this sunshiny girl who helps him one night when he is shot, and well… you can guess what happens next… or maybe not. This one was one hell of a roller coaster of emotions, I'll tell you that.
