Me parece que ha habido un cambio significativo en la forma de escribir de esta autora, he sentido que indagaba más en el pasado y en los personajes en sí. No me he quedado con las ganas de que más tramas se explorasen y creo que es la primera vez en esta serie.
🔫 mafia romance

I don't think this is a favorite of the series. It was just okay for me.
Nera saves Kai one night and he instantly becomes attached so he watches over her and protects her. Every so often, he can't resist the distance so he hurts himself so she can patch him up and they begin a little relationship 🤭
However, Kai commits a sin—the darkest sin ever. And he feels he's completely lost the right to be beside Nera so he disappears, leaving Nera to deal with all the broken pieces...
It was cute and funny at first. How Kai initially denied his obsession with Nera to cutting up himself and lying that he got attacked as an excuse to have Nera patch him up.
But I guess it just turned meh? The pacing was great for me. I liked how it moved along so well with the time skips without making it feel too jerky. But I think maybe it was just Kai's character that I didn't like. His character was corny in a bad way 😅 I liked how unhingely protective he was of Nera but I feel like some times he really overstepped and could've made a bigger mess for her.
I also thought it was kinda dumb how they both were okay not knowing some pretty important details about each other before saying ILY and being kinda official.
Nera's character progression was pretty good. She had to corrupt herself to the dark side in order to protect her family 🥲 She endured her own version of hell 😭
And I liked all the previous character cameos. Drago v Ajello being my fave! And Sergei always causing chaos. 🤣
I'm excited for Massimo & Zara's story though!
