They're a bit cutesier than I normally like, but I find it difficult to resist bear and his friends!

Darling illustrations, and a great story about compassion.

I can't resist a book with such a good rhythm, and it really captures the way being sick is so hard for kids (and adults!) because you still feel icky even if someone's taking care of you.

So cute! Love the pictures and the compassionate characters. Would be great for Teddy Bear Picnic story time. Could imagine kids extending this to dramatic play where they take care of their Teddy Bears.

Almost as good as Bear Snores On, which is really saying something. And great this week, since Annie's had a cold.

The children I work with, & myself, loved the rhyming in this one, & I appreciated the message the story was projecting (i.e. supporting your friends & treating them how you would like to be treated)!

Really sweet story about a bear who is feeling unwell, and all the friends who help him out.

Poor Bear is sick and can't go out to play with his friends. Instead, his friends put him to bed and make him soup and tea and try to take care of him. A sweet story about friendship that would make a good read aloud. As in all her Bear stories, Wilson's text has some great repetition and the illustrations are wonderful.

Meh. I do like the rhythm of the repeated refrain in these books, but some of the other rhyme is forced, and this one is just not great. Wouldn't bother using.
