I loved this book so much! It was different than anything I’ve read before, I really enjoyed the storyline and the writing style. I was interested and on my toes from beginning to end. And the ending gave me chills!

Avery doesn’t have much.  Since her mum passed away she lives with her half sister Libby and is determined to keep her head down and finish school with the best exam results as she can until one day someone appears to inform Avery she has been left an inheritance from an eccentric billionaire she has never met.  No one knows why Avery has been left this strangers fortune but with so many family members snubbed out of the will and all the money and property being handed over to a strange teenager Avery is plunged into a life of media and family mysteries to find out the truth behind the old man’s will.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Inheritance Games! It’s such an easy read, with a great plot and excellent characters.  Avery is so methodical and is determined to find out why her life has ended up the way it has.  The Hawthorne brothers are inexcusably the best thing about the book - Xander and his love of scones, Jameson and his love of puzzles, Grayson and his love of conspiracies and Nash and his love of being the rescuer.  They are all so endearing, lovable and sneaky! 

It’s a simple, enjoyable read that is ideal for something to read when you don’t know what you fancy next! Highly recommend!
