A story about a dog from its point of view sounds like a very unique premise. Bella

Fiction: I just really enjoy Cameron’s books. This one is not part of the Dog’s Purpose series; it tells the story of Bella, an amazing “good dog” who gets separated from her “person” and travels hundreds of miles to find him. I listened to the audiobook. Highly recommend it for a fun, light read.

I liked the story of Bella. I wish the author would have touched more on the subject of BSL because this affects so many lives. I was not as into this book as I was by the other books by this author.

A quick but heart-wrenching read, as usual. I found this one quite interesting with its details of handling feral cat communities, how dog rescue works, the workings of the VA, and things like that. I struggled with the animal prejudice (having a pit mix "niece," "nephew," and "half-sister" myself) a lot, which is an integral part of the story but just made me unreasonably angry considering it was fiction. I didn't give this a higher rating largely because it required too much suspension of disbelief for me. Even though the others I read did to some extent as well, this one was just a step too far. Still, a wonderful book and a must-read for all dog lovers.
