Jasper 👏🏼 freaking 👏🏼 Gervais. Elsie did it again. She wrote a beautifully, complex, dynamic romance full of all my favorite tropes.

Sloane is about to make a huge mistake and marry a total jerk. She’s not even sure she loves him. When everything comes crashing down, her childhood friend and crush, Jasper is there to help her pick up the pieces.

Sloane is a prima ballerina and the daughter of a successful telecom tycoon. She was raised to follow her dad’s rules and she’s a big perfectionist. Her clothes, her hair, her diet - she does everything to get her parent’s approval. Jasper is a professional hockey player and adopted brother to the Eaton boys. He’s had a traumatic upbringing and seeks to control everything in his life to keep everyone he lives safe. His friends and his family mean the world to him. And of course, the other characters from the Chesnut Springs world are so hilarious and lovable. My favorites are Willa and Harvey 😂
