I love love love Rachel Leigh, though this one felt a little bit flat for me. There were quite a few scenes where all I was thinking was come ooooon already, but then there were some parts that I couldn't read fast enough. I just didn't get a lot of it I guess.

It's your average bully romance, more on the lighter side of that, so great for testing out that genre.

I love a good Bully romance and Rachel delivered on that yet again and so much more.

Elodie finds herself in trouble after wandering away from a party. Her knight in shining armor comes to her rescue and saves her.

Rome not only saved the girl but she ruined his life in the process. Now that girl is his stepsister and he is out to get revenge.

I ate this book up. I loved Rome and his bully ways and how Elodie wouldn't put up with his crap and stood up for herself. The amount of tension between these two from the beginning exploded once they crossed the line.

I loved watching these two and their feelings evolve the way they did. I loved watching Rome finally open himself up and Elodie take a stand against what happened.

I was captivated by this book from the very beginning. It drew me and I was hooked. I loved that it wasnโ€™t super slow where it dragged out where the characters were in the dark about each other and their shared past. It felt like the perfect amount of time before the secrets were exposed. I do wish we had more from Romeโ€™s POV, but thatโ€™s really my only qualm. If there was more from Romeโ€™s POV I think them coming together after the bullying would have felt more seamless but it did feel a little rushed. Their bickering had me cracking up, though, as they poke and prod at each other. The spice ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ all Iโ€™ve gotta say is, Iโ€™m never gonna be able to go to the movies or each movie theater popcorn the same again. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Iโ€™ve got some theories forming for what could be a book two and Iโ€™m excited to see if Rachel expands this into a series or keeps it as a stand-alone.

Good, fast read! Bully, step-sibling rooms. Rome grew a lot from this mean boy ways, to being some one that could admit his love in the end. Elodie did her best to stick up for herself but she definitely ended up getting the knight in shining armor that she deserved!

It's been a while since I've read a good step-sibling, bully romance, and this was a great segway back into the dark romance world! While it wasn't super dark, it had just the right amount of bully and angst! My heart hurt for Rome and everything he had to go through, I was so glad once things started turning around for him! Rome and Elodie both have such great character development and are so sweet with each other. Rachel has a great way of writing that really pulls you into the story, and you don't want to stop reading until you know what happens next!

Rachel absolutely slays it every single time when it comes to making you fall in love with the bully in the book, and Rome was no different.

The absolute tension and angst in this one was so freaking good. Rome and Elodie just had me in knots waiting for them to snap. The back and forth between them was so consuming to read, and I just did not want to set it down. Rachel also brought the HEAT and forbidden aspect with this one.

Honestly it was all just so consuming you just keep itching for more until you realize you've read the final page.

Enemies to lovers bully romance between 18 year old step-siblings (her mom married his dad) in their senior year of high school.

I thought this book had a nice even amount of plot, tension, spice, and spice. It felt like a proper enemies to lovers since Rome does flat out bul!y Elodie for a bit. If at some point you feel like there's a miscommunication trope, don't worry, Rachel Leigh doesn't do us dirty like that!

Heartless Monster is full of mystery, suspense, dark themes, and of course, some high school drama and football. This is a well-written and edited book. Great for when you're in the mood for a forbidden romance and/or enemies to lovers bul!y romance!

Thank you for the e-arc opportunity and this has been my honest review

My first book by this author and I absolutely loved it! It was soooo good! I didnโ€™t want it to end. I loved Rome and Elodie. Iโ€™m a sucker for
bu!!y and step sibling tropes and it was so dang good! The spice was hot. The storyline was awesome. Iโ€™m going to have to go back and read all of Rachelโ€™s books now!
