I put this book on my TBR because of Jennifer Millikin's tiktok video!

She made the book sound so fascinating, and it didn't disappoint. (for me at least)

Now honestly when Jennifer Millikin said that the daughter needed surgery, I had this much more dramatic moment pictured. That being said, it was still surgery. This little girl was under anesthesia, and that is rough on any parent.

Claire is a little doll, and definitely stole the show!

The love story between Aubrey and Isaac good. The connection between the couple wasn't overly strong, but it was still enough to grab my attention. Yet I did find my mind wandering to other characters.

I did find myself curious about what was going on with Aubrey's mom. We visited that storyline a couple of times, and part of me was hoping for a resolution with it.

Then there was Lauren. It seemed as though she was holding something back. So I'm wondering if she isn't featured in another one of the Time Series books. Same goes for Aubrey's best friend Britt.

Great book

I heard about this book on fb.. can't remember if it was a friend or a book group that recommended it. It was on ku so I grabbed it for an in-between arc read and I'm so glad I did. This one packs a the feels. It has a great storyline and the characters are pretty relatable. Yes there are some moments where I wish there was a little bit more pull but overall I enjoyed the journey.

I should have abandoned this as soon as I learned that it was a pregnancy/kid trope, but I held on in hopes of spice. There was none. Predictable AF. Should have DNF’d.

This book was a breath of fresh air for me! Just the sweetest story with so much character growth and immense emotions that I could not put it down!

The story of Isaac and Aubrey starts off a rocky one when a one night stand leads to a life changing event. Years later, they find themselves in the same hospital room realizing even if it was only one night, there is something following having between them!

Tbh I have no idea how Isaac and Aubrey fell in love. There literally was no chemistry and I was not here for that.

I did not relate to Aubrey’s character at all. All she did was pity herself and brought up the same thing from the past during every conversation. And I’m sorry if I come off as rude and not empathizing here but idc, it reached a point when I was like pleaseeee move on ma’am. And then at the end she doesn’t even get closure and magically somehow moves on. Did not get that part and don’t even care. I loved her dad tho he deserves the world. He was such a great parent.

Isaac was kinda bearable. He was a straight shooter and I liked that. He was the perfect dad to Claire and I loved reading about them forming a bond. Although there wasn’t much of it, Claire just falls in love with him, which fair she just met her dad.
