I love books with no third act break up. I think the story flows much better and this book had an awesome flow to it. Aubrey, Claire and Issac grew into a really sweet family unit. If you are looking for a nice flow with no steam, give this one a try.

The book was decent. I had to force myself to finish it as the book seemed to drag on. The ending was okay but I kind of expected more and wished that there was a little more. This book doesn't offer moments of excitement and the book seemed predictable.
Went into this book expecting to be blown away and I was everything but that. This book, I feel, should hardly fall into the romance category because there was none, by the end of the book it feels like the characters were pushed together by fate and the fact that their options were limited.
It starts off with Isaac the main character being in a loveless, chemistry-lacking engagement with an unlikable woman. It wouldn’t normally bother me if it wasn’t for the fact that it reinforces the idea that Isaac is a man who settles and doesn’t seek out passion, but rather comfort and convenience.
The main character also happens to be confusing. Her entire life decisions revolve around her childhood trauma and follow her into motherhood. You’d think when given the chance to confront said trauma she’d jump at the opportunity; well she doesn’t. She voluntarily lets go of the opportunity to confront the source of her trauma twice in the book which felt very anti-climactic. I’m assuming the author was trying to show that she found peace and no longer needed closure, but I would’ve liked the closure. Or at least not to be teased like I was going to get it to then be let down.
Either way it was an easy read, the writing was simple and enjoyable. I’m giving it 2 stars despite wishing I could give it more, the book had a lot of potential it just didn’t deliver.

This book was perfection! One hour turned Aubrey and Issac’s life upside down. Not being able to find someone so special with life changing news, going forward with life and then reconnecting. This story had me feeling all of the emotions. I would recommend this book to anyone that loves happily ever afters.
