This was a fantastic read. It was so interesting. I loved getting the story of Hopeless from Dean's POV. I understand more of the story after reading this book. I was sad at the way Hopeless ended, so I was expecting this book to be the same way. However, Colleen Hoover did surprise me through this book. There were a lot of twists and secrets within this book, that is making me want to re-read Hopeless all over again. I love the way Colleen Hoover writes her books. Dean Holder is perfect. The words I would use to describe him are smart, loyal, caring, complex, intense, and perfection. I can read this book over and over and not get tired of it. I love how he was more complex and I loved reading his side of the story and I found it moving. His life may be closed off, but I love a man who knows how to love. I can't wait to read Finding Cinderella. Overall, an amazing read.

Honestly this was just a repeat of Hopeless from Holder’s view.. it was hard to get through until the very end. I guess not my favorite Colleen Hoover book.

Yep, I TOTALLY LIVE HOLDER!

Hopeless is one of my top reads of all time so going into Losing Hope I was both excited and nervous. Going into the same story just from a different point of view can be a little "scary", especially when you love the first one so much. I have learned though that if I don't re-read the first book before reading the alternate POV I seem to enjoy it a lot more. I digress...

After reading Hopeless, I felt like I had a pretty good idea of how Holder felt about Sky so going into Losing Hope I was a little worried there wouldn't be anything new for me to see. Man was I wrong! Yes, Holder's feelings for Sky were pretty clear in Hopeless but in Losing Hope I got to see that plus the love he had for his sister and his mom. Seeing the turmoil and grief he had to go through for so many years and the tremendous love he had for all 3 women in his life made me love him so much more. Getting Holder's POV added so much for me and made me fall in love with this story even more!

Losing Hope made an imprint on my heart and mind right beside Hopeless. Now, off to nurse this major book hangover and these puffy eyes! Well done, Colleen, well done (again) *applause* :)

3.5 stelle!
