I am 4 starring it not because i didn't love it, just still by the End of the book i only have a half guess to what the acquisition even is and it ruined reading for me as i have no clue to why Stella is even at Sins house......

The chemistry and hated need between Stella and Sin is scorching..... the actual writing, character building is amazing, its just i cant say much for the plot line as i still don't understand it, Im hoping book two will shed some light.

Going in I wasn't sure what to expect but from the very first word Counsellor had me enthralled, the premise intrigued and enticed me and the main characters sealed my fate I was completely and unequivocally in love.

Sin is very reminiscent of the Beast from Beauty and the Beast but his beastly nature is not in his appearance but his actions. I'm not going to lie he does a number of things that by all means should make him unlikeable but it doesn't, I couldn't help but be utterly charmed by him. Stella on the hand appears as if she might be weak, a pushover but nothing could be further from the truth, she's got fire, spunk and is pretty feisty. She is definitely a match for Sin. While I didn't like all the decisions she made I found her a very likeable character.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I have had countless hopes regarding the genre. I still have. I do hope for a shining, satisfying star of a book, but really, I should know better.

Maybe I should have read the prequel bc the FMC and MMC did not have enough character development for me to be invested in this insane situation
