"I'd tell him that all the feelings he thought he felt were in his head. I was just an illusion to him, a dream he thought he wanted to make a reality."

I am surprised how The Psycho didn't hit my high anticipation for the read.
By the synopsis, the cover and seeming it was stated as a dark romance; it was pretty light.
Don't get me wrong, it was still a smutty spicy, intense book, but because I have read very dark plotlines/themes before, this was light to me.

Even though I was a bit disappointed what I anticipated was not what I had gotten, I still enjoyed the read.
The plotline and writing were easy and went on smoothly.
I get addicted to the read.
While in the beginning, the Soldiers of Anarchy were introduced, later on, the focus wasn't really on it throughout the plotline.
In the whole book,  the focus was more on the romance than the thrill and suspense of the Soldiers of Anarchy.

Yet again, I was disappointed I didn't get the plotline I hoped we would get into.
It does give a reader false hope; in the beginning, the setting of Soldiers of Anarchy was prominent, but it felt like it got forgotten and only was put into the plotline like it was a side dish.

What I thoroughly enjoyed was the romance.
The romance was hitting every spot.
I love that the MMC was the one who fell first and fell so much harder.
Their storyline, especially Adam's on his history, childhood, and emotions, was such a tearful storytelling.

The plotline consistency was such a wave; sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not.
I wish there were a balance of the thriller surrounding the Soldiers of Anarchy, more of the town's development and the friend group, maybe detailing Olivia's story and relationship with her family more in-depth. While it was a good romance, there were a lot of holes in the story that could have helped strengthen everything together.

"I saw her, sitting in what was becoming a crowded park for this time in the morning, with dog walkers, joggers and older couples taking a stroll, but she was all alone. She looked lonely, and it made my heart hurt."

Excellent

Amazing writing love how devoted Adam is to Olivia and his brothers of soldiers I can’t wait to read more about the others! Thank you for great read! Chemistry between Olivia and Adam was fantastic

everything was good right until 80%.
then it felt like a fanfiction. and not a good one.
i’ll leave it like this because i don’t want to make spoilers but damn. i was disappointed.

Adam has met his match. Olivia one night walks into The Soliders territory and declares that she isnt afraid of them and they needed to back off from her friends. That started a twisted game of cat and mouse between her and their leader. He started stalking her and texting all the while she taunted and played the game back. How will the game end? Can Adam feel again? Do they uncover things about their past that they never realized? Will Liv give in to the game and attraction to Adam, The Psycho?

Dnf’ed at 13%. I barely got to the part where they even meet before I gave up. The MMC is insufferable. There’s a difference between being cocky and just being an entitled asshole

Except the stalking thing (you know what I'm gonna ignore that thing considering this is fiction world....) I loved every single thing about the book.

It was not boring at all, the author was definitely good with words and made sure to keep the readers engaging in the read - and I loved about this book considering there is some books which have a good story but at some plot it is bit boring and it becomes difficult to read, thankfully that was not the case about this book.

Adam & Olivia are love ❤, I love the fact that how Adam never really gives up on her even tho she rejects him most of the time - and I also love how Colton gives the best advice to Adam regarding Liv.

Whenever I think about Adam there is only one quote which comes to my mind "I believe very strongly that when it comes to desire, when it comes to attraction, that things are never black and white, things are very much shades of grey." by Brian Molko , this pretty much summons up the way his character was written, yes he have done many mistakes and his way of justice is not that clean but whoever he is, he accepts that and always strives to be a better person for his girl - and that's what made me love him in this book.

Olivia is the perfect girl for Adam coz a person like him needs a strong female lead - and she is that. The thing I loved about her most was her thought process, to which I was able to connect a lot - ya I love Adam but I love Olivia more...I believe an author becomes successful when the readers are able to connect to the characters and this book was it for me!!!

I have left it a few days after reading this book and I’m still unsure on my feelings.
I saw the author promoting this book all over tiktok and her videos made me want to read it so bad.
Overall it was a good book. But there were just a few too many things that I didn’t like.
First off I didn’t feel the chemistry between Adam and Liv. Don’t get me wrong the spice was there.
Liv was a weak character, she wasn’t strong and run off and every opportunity.
Adam kept talking about how Psycho he was but he wasn’t all that bad. I didn’t feel or see his Psycho character.
I felt like the inner dialogue of both Adam and Liv was repetitive.
The pace picked just over half way and then the books pace did.
Adam’s friends seemed interesting and it would be fun to see who they get paired with.
I liked the bond between Adam and his friends and their dog. And what they did for their town!

i received and arc in exchange for an honest review

my first stalker romance ive ever read and surprising really enjoyed it so imma have to dive into some more!! and my first book by nikki and it definitely will not be my last

this book follows adam and livs story with lots of stalking, enemies to lover and a whole lot of angst!! adam is a literal psycho, hence the title, and liv omg OLIVIA
