This was so well written with really fleshed out characters. I loved that as a reader/listener, we were able to see how little by little the main characters fall in love with each other. It feels like most times the characters in romance novels fall in love too quickly or are already in love. It was refreshing to be a part of the journey.

I love how true both of the main characters were to themselves. I feel like too many times the compromises people make are too heavy, which was not the case here.

I also love Astrid's character. She was so well written and bright, she practically jumped out of the page. The narrator, Wesleigh Siobhan, was truly amazing. Could not have imagined anyone else playing Astrid.

Eddie 😍

I'm so glad Eddie has met his match. I've been waiting to see how his story panned out. I'm glad someone has finally touched on the stereotypical opinions of bisexual gay men and how they are viewed. Beautiful story

I wish this book was longer! I relate to Eddie more so Astrid breaking down the walls around Eddie felt like she was doing the same for me. It's probably because I read this book first instead of the first book in the series, but I didn't feel like the friends/side characters added anything except for Astrid's sister so I'm interested in picking up the other books in the series to see if that would change my reading experience with this book.

I really enjoyed the story. The format of the stories in this series are starting to all be the same. Man and women can't stand each other. They later get together. Only to break up about something but in the end they end up together. I do like the fact other people from the neighborhood are in the book. It was still a good story to me.
