Title: Je Suis A Toi
Author: Pepper Winter
Series or Standalone: Series
Category: Dark Romance, BDSM
POV: Dual
Characters: 5
Plot: 5
Scorching Level: 5

Q & Tess are back!!! Monsters in the Dark has to be one of my favorite dark series ever! This book takes our characters further down the rabbit hole!

Q was my destination.
He was also my journey.
My test.
He was me.

I won't say much because I will ruin the story, but I can say this; Pepper Winters manages to revive her two characters perfectly and they keep the freshness that they had in the first book.
I am in love with Q & Tess. I am in love with the Monsters in the Dark universe and this book was a real joy to read.
Follow Tess and her beloved Q as they take a trip that will strengthen their bond, test their limits and their love. expect steamy passion that will make your Kindle melt and a Q like you've never seen him before. Do not miss it!

This book is definitely the lightest out of all of them. It's a sweet book that continues Tess and Q's epic romance.

When I first read the blurb I immediately had a suspicion about what Q's request was. And I ended up being right.

I liked how the book acknowledged past events that had happened throughout all 3 books. It served as a nice reminder of what Tess and Q had been through.

Overall, it was cute, which is something I don't usually say about Pepper's books.

It's not a secret that the Monsters in the Dark books are my favorites by Pepper Winters. I was also very glad that they got this extra story which gives us another look into their lives and what they are up to know. It also wraps up some things.

So basically this book, even though it wasn't very long, pulled my out of a small reading slumb I was having. Leave it to Tess and Q to pull me out of it. Right from the moment I started this book I had a really hard time to stop reading. It just pulled me back into this world and I loved it.

In this book, Q has a secret he won't tell Tess. Tess knows something is up with him but gives him time to tell her himself. I've got to admit I had an idea to what this secret could be and I ended up being right.

Of course besides the big secret that kind of messes them up for a little bit, Tess and Q are still kinky as hell. Some scenes in the book are really scorching hot and made me want to fan myself.

I also loved the appearances of some of the side characters we got to know in the other books. Franco and Suzette are my favorites. I would love to read more about them in the future!

Overall, Je Suis à Toi by Pepper Winters was every bit as amazing as I hoped it would be and I was really happy how this book turned out in the end. I might even have gotten a little teary-eyed. Tess and Q will always have a very special place in my heart.

Q and Tess! I loved been back in their world. I was so excited when I found out that we would be getting more of their story and have been counting down the days since.

Married life seems to be suiting the couple very well and they have settled into a happy existence until Q starts to question his life and maybe wanting something else from Tess. I was wondering what else she could possibly give. She already has Q captured heart and soul. But when Q reveals what he wants I think I did a little happy dance. I was so happy for them.

Je Suis a Toi is Pepper at her best. I loved everything about this story and her writing never ceases to amaze me. A must read for lovers of this series.

Perfect ending to this series. Even if Q frustrated the FUCK out of me for the entirety of the book...

3 stars purely based on the smut. If I factored in the story and character development it would be more of a 2 star read.

So the big secret? I figured it out almost immediately.
Q is basically kink-shaming himself for wanting a kid...doesn't make any sense but there you go.
There goes that mystery. A few other things that kept popping up lead me to believe that the author doesn't know how the female body operates.
If you're taken off of birth control, it does take a little bit for your body to readjust back to it's natural cycle. Trying to go for fertility testing b/c you didn't get pregnant in a couple months doesn't make sense. Usually doctor's don't encourage testing until the year mark of trying to conceive. There was also a bit mentioned at the end where Q was afraid to have vaginal sex with Tess b/c he didn't want to invade his son's "cocoon"...this is preposterous. That's not how the body is lined up, unless Tess is on the brink of giving birth you're not going to be able to reach that baby with your man parts. I'm suspecting it was just an excuse to have more anal sex w/Tess. Have anal all you want, but at least be honest about why you want it.
To me, things like that should've been cleaned up in the first round of editing. All it takes is a quick Google search to work out those details, so it seemed like lazy writing to me. I'm probably thinking about this way too hard, and I should've shut my brain off, but the fact that I needed to shut my brain off was a big part of the problem.

For the positives: Having the dual perspectives of both Q & Tess was enjoyable. I liked seeing their different emotions play out. I also enjoyed the smut in this one. I thought those scenes were well timed and were just the right level of steamy.

Overall, if you're looking for a well-written, thought-out story I would look elsewhere. If you just want some decent BDSM smut, this does its job.

Honestly this book just felt a bit unnecessary. It is not bad but it just didn't have the same spark to it as the other books had. If you've read the other books in the series of course it makes sense to read this and finish it off but this just wasn't my favorite.

Je suis à Toi.
I wish I could go above and beyond the simple rating of five stars.
I wish I could forget that I read this book so I could discover it all over again.
Mostly, I wish I could follow Q and Tess on a regular basis and watch them growing old together.
But I digress.
As in the other books in the Monsters in the Dark series, we are transported into the lives of two unconventional characters. A hero who considers himself a villain and a heroine who refuses to identify herself as a victim. Two head-strong leads who possess a bond so unbreakable that its weight is sometimes the burden they carry.
I completely fell in love with Q all over again as I read Je suis à toi. Remembering all of his demons, his needs and his desires, brought me back to a time where I was just getting to know him. And Tess...I have witnessed her growing from that naive young girl vacationning in Mexico to the proud, vibrant and strong woman we rediscover in Je suis à Toi.
They are extraordinary alone but true perfection when together.
Yes, I absolutely loved this story, this series, this world of deep, unshakable pain. I loved every scene, every page...every word.
"Je suis à Toi" est un chef d'oeuvre à ne pas manquer. (Je suis à Toi is a masterpiece not to be missed).
Absolutely, positively a MUST READ.
