Is it just me or is Box's body count getting higher with every book?

This is Nate's book and I guess it seems logical that the body count would be high whenever Nate's around. Nate has always had a mysterious past, and in this book we learn the story of why he decided to go wild in Wyoming. I enjoyed reading about his background and seeing the resolution to his unsettling history. I hope he'll be back.

Another great Joe Pickett novel, though this had more to do with Nate than Joe himself there's equal attention and time placed with both. We finally get some questions answered about Nate's past and the things he'd been involved in. I found the ending to be a bit anticlimactic given the build up but I do feel that it was a proper ending for the situation and, as in life, things don't always pan out how you think they should. The ending made sense to me taking into account all the players.

Couldn't wait for this book to be over. Too long and felt like it dragged on. This was the first book of this series I read so not sure how the others were.
