An Extreme Sci-fi Techie Thriller

Oh My Gauss!! It's so mindfreaking..
It's full of hardcore science stuffs but the great thing is it's so realistic. It's a great story of surviving in the Worst Case Scenario. Andy Weir's like exploited a hell of knowledge from lot of fields of science like physics, chemistry & botany. He's soo creative..

There's a lot of things to say about the main character Mark Watney like he's so humurous & sarcastic in all the odds.He is so god dammmit Intelligent that he manages all the stuffs despites all the adversities. He's got a real spirit of survival,it's so interesting to see how he makes the things work..

I've never read such pure science thrilling stuff before.I'm a lot excited for the movie directed by Ridley Scott & starring Matt Damon.

I loved this book!!!!

Wonderful humour, nerd references and science!!!

I really loved that the author really brings the reader along all the problem solving that Mark Watney has to go through. Of course there are simplifications (thankfully), the point is you never have that annoying thing some authors do when the character has an epiphany but the reader is not privy to it.

And all the science is pretty much high school level and simplified at that.... So it makes it easy to follow and even makes us (readers) feel smart for it!

But the heart of he book is Mark's humour and sarcasm for sure! There's no way not to love it! In the end, I think it's what keeps him going! And some jokes had me smiling and geeking out publicly! <3

Amazing! I wish it extended past where it ended, but I still really enjoyed this. I zoomed right through it and kept wanting to pick up my book for more!

An optimistic, probable-feeling tale of what would happen if we stranded someone on Mars in about ten years time. Ocassionally a bit of a slog on account of all the engineer musings, it is nonetheless a blast to read that keeps gripping the attention. If you're inclined to believe the best of mankind and want a comfortable sci-fi tale that confirms this view, this is the book.
