I didn’t love this book. I wanted to but didn’t. I enjoyed the protectiveness of the MMC but the conflict felt forced. The female lead became annoying and the arguments were repetitive. The steamy scenes were good but don’t redeem the book.

this would have been a 3 star but she had to go and call him "daddy"🤢 with her daddy issues that is brought up multiple times throughout the book, it just made me want to hurl everytime I saw it. Also I felt that there was a lot of telling and not much showing in this story which is a little tiring, and the reason they "hate" each other is so trivial in the beginning and almost completely forgotten about not even 100 pages into the story. This just wasn't my favorite.

could have been better…
I really wanted to love these guys, Im all on board with flawed characters but they didn’t have the redeeming qualities to go along with it. The steamy scenes were good but I could have done without her calling him daddy though!

started and ended this book today… DNF’ed, but I’m counting it because it was just that bad. Homeboy is talking about how her thighs were made for a man to dig his fingers into…. Sir, go to jail. Get therapy.

This book was good. Seemed to drag on a little. Now while it was good I will also say that it was overhyped. It was good but not super great like people have said. I was a little disappointed. The book was good. I love Morgan Elizabeth but this book was average. Not super good but not bad. The end was cute. A little boring at times. Overall it was okay. 3/5
