It was fine, overall. Some decent research, and helpful information on understanding more about how the body works, and a generally decent view on how a lot of established systems and institutions in the western world can neglect the needs of people who menstruate. It seems like it has some helpful information that will be beneficial.
But good gravy is it padded with a bunch of uselessness. Every page it felt like was plugging the author's app or courses or subscription service, and it was full of fairly hollow stories that are meant to be motivational or relatable but end up just feel like a way to turn a few pages of information into a whole book. Unfortunately it seems to suffer from a lot of the same issues that so many self-help books suffer from, including being productivity-focused in a fairly entitled way (while simultaneously pontificating on the problems with focusing on productivity). Worth a quick skim from the library at least.

So much good info, but I couldn’t make my way around the pseudoscience unfortunately.

Eye opening and well researched information! I wish the book had been less repetitive, and there were not so many references to links/downloading the app.
