DNF @ 27% ~ yeah, I guess when it said taboo, I wasn’t thinking a relationship between an adult and a child. Even if she’s a month from 18, romance between a child currently in foster care and a caseworker is a severe imbalance of power.
I probably could have handled it if he’d waited until she was fully 18 & not his case anymore ~ but intimate hugs, holding hangs, kissing. Not like it was one oops or a single toe slightly over the line, it happened repeatedly.
Stopped when they started kissing in the restaurant.

As described it is a taboo treat so it’s a little on the shorter side, and the story is not as paced out. But regardless, it kept me entertained
It’s a really cute read though. Forbidden romance between client and case worker which (wisely ) doesn’t develop until a few months later when she is 18. Still, would be frowned upon since who he was to her and I’m sure it’s written into his ethical workplace code to not have relations with clients, whether of age or not. But that’s what makes it the taboo treat!
K. Webster always gives a great story and this is just one more of those.

Absolutely a 5⭐read!!
Omg was this book so amazing you just can't help but fall in love with these character's.
Once I started reading it I couldn't get enough of it and didn't want to put it down for a sec. Talk about a taboo hot and dirty holy smokes it was soo hot the only way Kristy likes to tell her lil taboo stories. I definitely would recommend grabbing it.
This is my unbiased opinion and my review

Enzo, you've been a very bad boy. A naughty, naughty boy. I guess not is the wrong word since Enzo is all man. And I mean ALL man. This taboo treat is exactly what you expect...naughty fun and sweet happily ever afters. One of my favorite parts of these is how they link to the other stories in this "world." I loved seeing old friends and look forward to " new" ones.

We meet Jenna, a foster child who hopes the family shed living with adopts her as are her foster brothers, Ryder and Rex. Blake and Amanda( foster parents) wind up adopting Ryder and Rex Katrina, their social worker moves Jenna and Cora to a new foster home. Jenna gets detention because she laughed and fell asleep in Coach Long's class. Cora, a two year old little girl is sick so Jenna rushes home and demands Juanita take her the doctor. She does and Dr Powell asks if her foster mom hurts her. Cora says yes so Laurence Tauber (Enzo), their case worker is called to investigate.
Cora gets sick again and Patty, her foster mom brings her to the hospital, Jenna, Enzo and Cora are my favorite characters. This book is one of K Webster's best ones to date

I got Enzo when it came out, but I’m a procrastinator in all things, so of course, I didn’t read it once I got it. I chose to finally get my act together because I reeeeeeeally, really want to read Dr. Dan and I know the Taboo Treats books are standalones, but there was a note at the beginning of Dr. Dan that suggested reading Enzo and Red Hot Winter first. So here we are now and I’m so glad that I followed the note seeing as how Dr. Dan definitely played a somewhat significant role in Enzo that would not have had the same effect as if I hadn’t. More than that though, I enjoyed reading Enzo. It brought all the emotions from anger and heartache to the warm, gooey ones. It left me with a smile on my face and I can’t wait to get to Dr. Dan now!
