Amazing novella!!! But my only issue with it is that I was reading it, falling in love with Adena's chatacter all over again, and her story with Makoto, all the while knowing how it all ends. It pained me to read at times, wishing for an ending different from the one I know. I just love her too much

literally loved this novella more than powerless
literally loved this novella more than powerless
I knew what was coming and ran straight into the knife. Noone to blame but me, I guess.
TL:DR
I did not like nor appreciated this book.
If this has been merged with [b:Powerless|75513900|Powerless (The Powerless Trilogy, #1)|Lauren Roberts|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1672676191l/75513900._SX50_.jpg|92499054] - ok, fine. But as a standalone is just... weak.
Here's my reasoning (more articulate):
1. You start a book knowing how it will end. It's like starting Game Of Thrones from the last season.
2. I did not care for the characters at all.
3. It generally feels like an afterthought.
Now hear me out: I saw that people complained to not care about one of the Powerless characters that has met a... dreadful end. I understand that this book is an answer for that. While sure, I cared more this time - I knew what will happen, so... I didn't care as much as I should.
Summary - Poor planning.
