Make sure you listen to the audio book! The authors do the reading and they are so entertaining!

Super funny and definitely makes me want to go back to Scotland

This book was okay... At first I absolutely hated it, to be honest. I thought it was really stupid listening to these guys brag about their acting accomplishments and try too hard to be funny. I was expecting more history up front. Eventually they got into the history and the style it started to grow on me... although they did still try too hard to be funny the whole time. The only true moment of humor for/me wad the very end when Graham nearly died on the motorcycle. Overall I would probably not recommend this book unless you truly love these two actors and their role in Outlander. Oh! And get the audiobook. It would have been complete trash had it not been for their voices.

Entertaining, hilarious, such a fun read! If you like Scotland, travel, history I highly suggest checking this out. You don't need to know Outlander to enjoy this, though it does improve the experience. Also the audiobook is definitely the best way to read this, it feels like your two crazy uncles telling a story of their travels in Scotland.

Anyone who knows me knows I do not like Outlander with a passion, however, I do like the actors from the show and I LOVE history. This book was hilarious, and full of Scottish history and I loved it.

The banter got to be a little too much at times, but it was a fun read and learning more about both the actors and the history of Scotland was really interesting.
