I think it's adorable that this group of guys gets together and read romance novels for their book club. And do yoga together with n elderly, but tough, instructor. Colton's close-knit family will warm your little heart, while Gretchen's will break it. I will confess that the sunshine + grump trope isn't my favorite, and that may be part of what didn't fully sell this one to me; but, mostly I think it was that I never felt like I was really there in the moment with the characters. I wanted to feel more present and less like the emotions were being presented to me. Still, the characters are well constructed and I appreciated the social commentary and spicy bedroom scenes. It's a 3, but a strong 3.
I really enjoy the idea of this series - it’s so wholesome. I also love a good grumpy / sunshine trope and this one didn’t disappoint. Perfect first Christmas read of the season.

I love this book so much. Short, fast paced story. Haven't been loving romance lately due to my cringe tolerance being tested but this one is so well written.
Another excellent addition to the Bromance Book Club series! They never disappoint!
Here's what I love most about these: I think it's super rare in any book to show a group of male friends openly expressing their feelings for each other, communicating about their emotions, and being affectionate with each other. Yes, there are pieces in here that are similar to every other book in the series, but who cares?
This holiday (b)romance has a lot happening: complicated family dynamics, country music, sex, and a lot of heart. Though the narrative took a while to find its footing, and some of the excessive male bravado might make readers roll their eyes, I was thoroughly endeared by this tale and people trying to do the right thing.

This one was cute
I wanted more about the parents reactions at the end
And more happy family shit for Gretchen
I’m glad they brought Gretchen back

I had so much fun with this series! I'm sad to be done with it!.
