I loved returning to the Bromance Book Club world. Enjoying the story of Gretchen and Colton, while hearing from past characters is so cozy. They truly feel like family. Vlad is, and will continue to be my favorite side character.
I absolutely loved this book! The humor was so good, light-hearted and sweet. I laughed so much, my blood boiled, my heart broke, and I cried when it ended. I thoroughly enjoyed this one! First book I've read by Lyssa, and well done.

I did not want to like this book. In fact, I didn't really for more than half of it. The characters, specifically the men, weren't always written as the "men" they were described as being. Sometimes, they seemed partially feminine, but won me over in the end. In fact, all of the characters did, as I watched a Hallmark worthy portrayal of a budding relationship turned serious with a side plot right out of a comic, villain-wise. All in all, it was surprising and impressed me, even if it took awhile.

got so sick i couldn’t read but i wanted to finish this book today. It was fun but wasn’t anything memorable!
What a joy this series has been! Each book has been fun, charming, and heartfelt, and this one was no exception. I loved the Christmas setting, the cameos of all the Bromance Book Club bros, and the swoony romance.
A Very Merry Bromance tells the story of Colton and Gretchen. Colton has been part of the Bromance Book Club for a couple of books now and he has such a funny, sunshiny personality. He is a country music superstar who is smitten with our heroine, Gretchen, from the start. Gretchen is a immigration lawyer who is estranged from her horrible family. She is quite the grump at the beginning of this book, and she really doesn't want to be interested in Colton. Will a little Christmas cheer, along with some meddling friends, help these two figure out their happily ever after?
This book was a heart punch of a story. All of the BBC books have had a bit of depth to them, but this one really goes to some hard places. Colton was a wonderful hero, and while he was the book's sunshine, he still had some issues to work through. Gretchen was put through the wringer in this book. She came across a bit self-righteous at first, but after getting to know her character more, my heart ached for her as she dealt with her awful family. I loved Colton and Gretchen together and thought they balanced each other well. Of course, the guys from the BBC are amazing. I love how they get to the heart of issues with lots of fun banter along the way.
I will continue to enthusiastically read whatever Lyssa Kay Adams writes. Up next is a historical based on the first Bromance Book Club book, and I'm excited to see how that turns out.

I honestly came into this with pretty low expectations. Of all the book club boys, Colton was consistently my least favorite but I really enjoyed his book. Might be one of my favorites from the series (with the exception of Noah and Alexis who will forever be my faves). 4.5 rounded to a 5
