It just wasn't pulling me in and I didn't care for teenage boys constantly thinking about sex. Especially when there were other things going on within the plot that could pull attention towards.

I aspire to be at the level of delusion that the tiktok girlies are when it comes to this book. My main paint points of this book:

1. It’s entirely too long. Some call it a slow burn, I wouldn’t consider this truly romance as there was barely romance. So calling it slow burn to justify the page count is WILD. I may have rated it higher if it was shorter.

2. Two things can be true. The FMC story and past is sad, however, that doesn’t mean the book is great nor written well. Kennedy Ryan and Millie Bellizaire both do an eloquent job writing TW content, so my standard is slightly higher.

3. Is the plot her inner dialogue about her trauma ? There was more inner dialogue over actual character development, plot and romance.

This is my last hyped TikTok book as this should not have made it past wattpad. And that’s being nice.
