This book was nice. Lots of things done well (e.g. the character development, the friendships).
Side note: my rating may be influenced by the fact that i just read several juicy smut scenes while sitting in front of my parents in a train. Awkward.

first off, i originally rated it as 3 stars but added a .5 because of the steamy scenes lol. i was surprised how early they gave us the spicy scenes i thought they were gonna build it up more... also there's a problem with a book with a lot of spicy steamy smut bed scenes... it gets boring. i found myself flipping through pages not really paying attention.
i'm not attached to the characters but i love their dynamic.
if you want to read something with steamy sapphic romance and you don't really mind if there's no plot (LOL) then this is for you. enjoy~

This was good i just didnt love it and that its on me not the book. Even coming in to the book with interes in the topic i just noticed that im not interested in novellas. They are just to short for me unless it contains a character or world i already know and love. I dont get the same feeling or time to love it mainly because of the length

What a great book to kick the new year off with! I havenāt read a lot of sapphic romances, but this was just so fun. And having it be New Yearās Eve themed just added to the fun.
Okay, so I loved the fact that Amanda and Wren started off as internet besties and decided to finally meet in person. And then having to share a bed? AND the mutual pining?? I just about died from all the trope overloadā¦but like, in a good way. I also really liked that little bit of angst of āis this just a fling or is it something more?ā. It made for a really great read.
Overall, a solid book to start 2022 with. I also want to read more of this series now! I know, starting a series with the middle is weird, but Iām excited to see what else is in this little world. Party Favors is getting a solid four and a half stars.
