4.75 stars rounded up. This was so good. I was surprised. It had everything I needed and if you go into this with a real expectation of a YA book rather than the expectation of an adult book you’ll enjoy it. I loved the imagery & the time period it was set in and the concept of death being the love interest and what all that means. Has a story like this been written before? Yup. Is this concept of a dark broody character & a naive girl liking each other a new thing? Nope. But it’s good anyways.
