Silvia Moreno-Garcia does it to me AGAIN. Why did I think there would have been a different conclusion than what happened. I was extremely charmed by the romance in this book and I think it could have benefited from some more lingering moments of friendship from the group, or more points of view.
This tries to tackle a lot of big topics in just over 300 pages, and I wish we had more. I think the book suffers from the format that tries to bounce between telling the story of all three women, and the commentary it's making so the ending feels a little rushed.
All that being said I still can't give this less than four stars, I enjoyed Vera very much, and I am already eagerly awaiting the next book.
