Oh goodness. A Tropical Fish Yearns for Snow Vol. 1 is a gentle and sweet introduction to this story. I can see why fans are utterly enchanted by it; this tale captures your heart right from the start.
To be clear - this is a bit of a slow-burn romance, so don’t expect anything fast-paced; you’ll be disappointed. What you will get is a character-driven story, lots of sweet moments, and even more fish/aquarium facts.
In short, it’s cute and perfect for Yuri lovers - also great for people who love aquariums. That extra passion will help make this series a more substantial read.

This is absolutely adorable and it's killing me to take part of a star off just because I have to compare all manga to witch hat atelier. My one critique is that the main characters need more personality beyond "Shy" but I still love them and think that will probably get better as the series goes on
