Probably more a 3.8. still really enjoyable but a few times the characters are just unbelievably stupid. Dr Mann also has been grating on me as a character for a while, but all in all I'm enjoying the darker side of the story as well as the flashes of brilliant comedy.

This series is just so amazing and compelling. I love the characters. It's witty and funny The premise is just...fantastic. So why doesn't this have 5 stars you ask? My one real issue is that it tries to be feminist, but I feel it sometimes becomes a little degrading.

The second volume of the last man begins with the possibility of having more survivors and how they can survive the plague. It then picks up with drama and humor to improve on the first part. It is setting up the story for the next few volumes.

A whole lot of crazy stuff happening. At this rate, they'll never get where they need to go haha loved the Shakespearean monkey art.

The theater group arc and the safeword arc are a little muddy, but the set really ends on a strong note and left me wanting to keep reading.

(3.5 stars) The writing and art are both as good as the first book but the story is a little less cohesive. It felt more meandering at times.
