Lmaoooooo this book was something else

Ok, for the genre, it was entertaining! Which is why i give it 3.5 stars for genre purposes. I sped through the book in literally 9 hours just reading non stop lmao.

BUT it lacked in a lot of areas. First, it was stereotypical about race—and if you read it, you’ll know what i mean. It ain’t racist or anything, but for a book that made subpar social justice comments about things related to equality—well, it was stereotypical. And same goes for that very typical gender conforming, toxic masculine standard of love where the man is just big and aggressive lmao.

Other than that, i dont have much qualms about the book. The writing was really entertaining and engaging, and the bouts of anxiety Olive kept having—I felt for her.

But also my goodness that ehem ehem steamy ehem scene was a looooooong one. No one told me this book was—well, this! My gosh that was like 2 or 3 chapters and it was looooong lmaooo it was long. I was caught off guard. Fun, but maybe not fun if youre looking for a juvenile love story lol

Anyway, i thank this book for the quick and (hilariously stereotypical) enjoyable read !

decided to go for a romance and forgot that most modern books are written by authors who got famous on tiktok or a03 which was painfully obvious w this one. if i have to read “and yet” one more time or random repetition of words over and over i will go insane. the forced “scientific” language everyone uses was stupid and nobody in a scientific or even a medical degree speaks like that i was going insane. the writing is abhorrently bad, the couple is cute though. oddly the sex scene was the only time the writing was well structured and compelling 💀💀💀 definitely a tiktok book and after reading some amazing novels these past months i can’t earnestly rate this book any higher. a beach read if you’re twelve i guess

i picked this one up not thinking i was going to be THAT into it. romance isn't my genre. it just isn't my thing. but i KEPT seeing it on instagram and i was like fine! i give! ill try it!

ZERO REGRETS HAD HERE

it's so fun and fluffy. it's a little silly - which i was expecting. i don't mind that from a rom-com. i found the characters endearing, witty, and best of all? olive is DEMI REP??? was not expecting it or ready for it but i was surely LOVING IT. (while i admit it could have been more fleshed out, im happy for any rep, and hope it continues.) ultimately it was a fun, sometimes silly, always earnest novel and ali hazelwood is now my go-to romance novel

Ali Hazelwood’s The Love Hypothesis deserves every bit of five stars. From the very first page, I was pulled into the world of Olive and Adam, and I couldn’t look away. The slow-burn romance was written so beautifully that the tension between them felt electric. The intimacy was not only intense but also deeply emotional—it built layer by layer until I was completely invested in every stolen glance and every hesitant touch.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat, heart racing as I turned each page, desperate to see where their connection would lead. And when Olive and Adam weren’t together, I found myself in tears. The ache of that distance was so raw and real that it lingered with me long after putting the book down.

Hazelwood captured not just a love story but the vulnerability, fear, and courage that come with opening your heart to someone else. It’s rare to find a book that makes you laugh, cry, and swoon all at once, but The Love Hypothesis did exactly that. A powerful, heartfelt romance that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves a story that grips both your emotions and your imagination.

Recommendation: A must-read for fans of slow-burn romance and emotionally charged intimacy.
