At this point, im purely reading for sorasa and dom. There are tooooo many perspectives in this book. I just don’t care to read about erida anymore. Theres no point. What Waits is such a boring villain. I want to see the ending, specifically for sorasa, so i have to keep reading.

Love love love this book!! It's such a good read and it's amazing to see high fantasy with such diversity. I feel like the characters are so real and relatable, and the immortals are characterised SO well. I'm so excited to see where it goes, the ending had me so sad but also hopeful

Very similar feelings about this to book 1. Erida and Taristan remain the most interesting bits of this, her seeing the first flickers of her allies turning from her, Taristan realising he has real feelings… For the heroes, the best bit by far was the big battle at the end. Fantastic fantasy, so good. Excited for book 3!
