A good, quick round-up of Matt's origin, but there is still a lot of 90's-level sexism and fatphobia, which was a let down.

Reread this after a many years since it looks like the Netflix series will be drawing from it. It doesn't hold up nearly as well as either Miller's original run or Born Again - by 1993 Miller was making something much more a crime comic, much darker, with less of the comics code driven heroic morality that stuffy old me still thinks is a useful spice in a proper super-hero tale It's certainly not horrible, but I do hope Marvel only mines the worthwhile stuff.

Tells the story behind Daredevil, and very well. Love the art and the story progresses quickly and just sucks you in. This is a good read for any fan of Daredevil.
